At The Lake Fishermen by Isaac Levitan

Lithuanian-born, Russian-based artist Issac Levitan who was well-known for a number of noted Russian landscape series including this one-At the Lake Fishermen. He had great fondness for landscape painting especially for countryside. In his work, landscapes are not mere eye candy, but rather symbols of escape from the hustle and bustle society, representing the peace and quiet he was longing for.
 At The Lake Fishermen
Rendered in soft, airy hues, Levitan's work At the Lake Fishermen pulses with gentle colors and textures. In this painting, two fishermen are sitting in a boat staying on a lake; one of them is holding a fishing rod. We can see that it’s a sunny day, the lake is calm and quiet with no waves and ripples, reflecting the blue sky and clouds clearly. There are reeds grown in the lake swaying in the gentle breeze. In far distance, there is dark green forest by the lake. Blue sky is decorated with floating white clouds. The whole scene is covered in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace, conveying the painter’s deep desire for freeing from the agitated restless life mood.
Levitan changed his viewers' perception of their mundane environment, evoking an intense feeling of the sublime. He took mundane objects as a starting point and manipulates them artfully to give new meanings to them, making the subject come to life and provide a stunning resemblance to the real thing. He owned the capability to involve viewers in his paintings and share his feelings with him.

Van Gogh's The Red Vineyard

Van Gogh's The Red Vineyard was notably the only painting sold by the artist during his lifetime, purchased by Anna Boch, an Impressionist painter and art collector, during an exhibition in 1890. Painted from memory, like many of his natural scenes, the work harbors the vibrancy of lived experience rather than the naturalistic pulse of a reproduction from life. The Red Vineyard depicts a team of farm workers hand-harvesting the grape vines from the incandescent field. Bright and penetrating, the sun exacerbates the difficulty of the task before the farmhands, as the low horizon of Arles in Provence signals the end of the day. The work was to be in vain as unfortunately, contemporary accounts, as well an exchange of letters between Van Gogh and Paul Gaugin suggest that the wine produced from the crop may have been tainted by bad weather.
Having moved to Arles earlier in 1888 to recuperate from a range of ailments, Van Gogh proceeded to explore the winding city streets, the hues and shifts of light in Provence, before the cataclysmic visit he received from his Paris-acquaintance, Gaugin in 1890. This period, the most productive of his short career, was driven by his adoration of the effects of light that he noticed in the French countryside. The Red Vineyard is an experiential reproduction of the artist's state of mind, fusing the vivid contrasts of the Impressionists working on capturing the pace of the city with the fraught, mood-swings of his Arles landscapes. Personally acquainted with artists such as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Emile Bernard, Camille Pissarro, and John Russell, Van Gogh's creative output in Arles following his two years in Paris were a calculated rejection of the principles of the Impressionists.

The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli

The fresh body brimming with beautiful flowers was regarded as a challenge to the religious asceticism. In this paintings online, Venus showed a sad look with inexpressible, spiritual and ideal love in her heart. Therefore, the birth did not seem to bring joy, but somewhat sadness. The picture's background was a boundless sea, fertile land and forest. The footsteps of Venus did not seem to bear the weight, but were in the melody of the driving force. As the embodiment of beauty and love, Venus had serious implications.

In addition, Venus's gesture was apparently depicted according to the classical sculpture style. Only two hands replaced the position. But Sandro Botticelli Venus still had special charm which was considered as the most elegant nude in the art history. Venus was different from those gorgeous women who were admired by Venice painters, and it was with a childlike innocence.

Neo-plasticism was Produced During the First World War.

Artists saw the social contradiction and confusion and the decay of capitalism paintings reproduction. They did not know the law of social development, mistook the use of spirit and art that could save the society, and formed a spiritual world by using geometry abstract lines and colors to replace the capitalist world. Therefore, its ideological foundation was idealism and utopian socialism. Activities of neo-plasticism continued to 1931.

The paintings of Mondrian and Duisburg combined the horizontal and vertical lines in the plane and formed the right angle or rectangular blended with red, blue, and yellow. Dungeluo applied this principle into sculptures. Different from Mondrian, his works were based on the mathematics basis as the foundation and used the perpendicular and parallel to combine a certain space pattern from some simple stereo units. Neo-plasticism painting produced a quite big effect on the building of the 20th century.

Matisse’s Preference for the Oriental Art

Western classical painting reproduction lies in the main use of surface-modeling in shape and less in lines, while Matisse’s works just tries to impress people in their simple lines and warm colors. The lines and colors in Dance exactly reflect an enthusiastic and forceful life.

The picture is roughly made of three colors. In accordance with the interpretation of Matisse, he uses the most saturated color to construct the sky, home decorates the earth with green and depicts the human body in a bright scarlet. In terms of shape, the characters in the picture are surrounded by a circle like dancing. Careful viewers will find the closest two bodies actually do not hold together. This reserved space seems to be forced to separate or be open for the viewers. If you like, you could join the dance at any time.

Rembrandt Pays Much Attention to the Inner Temperament of the Face

This self portrait was created by Rembrant in 1665 when the painter lost his wife, sold off his property and moved to Llsang J Lahat. At that time, Rembrandt declined a lot in his career. He could just be in charge of the Art Product Processing Company which was founded by Titus, the son of Rembrandt's ex-wife and Hendry Gee, as an "employee". He worked as a carrier carrying products. And this picture is the real image of him at that time.

Rembrandt, as a 54 years old man, is a sloven with the color palette and painting brush in his left hand and right hand on his hip which reflects his poverty and miserableness. Fat body, kerchief on his head and two bright piercing eyes make him seem like thinking about something deeply. He stands still in front of the sketching easel with no smile on his face. The background is diluted in order to highlight the upper body of the painter himself, it looks like a steady tower. There is only the spirit of art holding him together forever. Rembrandt usually does not note the year of his self portraits. If all his self portraits are put into order, we can see that the self portraits before his 34 are full of faith, tenaciousness and fortitude. In this picture, the painter only uses a brief and broad way to sculpture his inside feeling. The serious expression on his face just reflects his suffering of the growing life pressure.

The Breakthrough Development of 18th Century Paintings

In fact, it was the gradual breakthrough development of 18th century painting in the color and shape that created the conditions for the birth of the 19th century Impressionist paintings. From the 15th century to the 17th century, what artists were concerned about was how to unite the color in the works with spiritual theme, and pursue an ideal harmonious color.

In the 18th century, artists began to recognize that even the colors of the real world were not always in perfect harmony, artists could create harmony in disharmony. In the 19th century, artists began to appreciate the essence of the higher level spirit of the Aristotelian aesthetics and know art was not a perfect reproduction of reality, because the buy paintings online belonged to the feelings of the human spiritual aspects of life, therefore, it should be emotional rather than purely rational.

The mystery of the Mona Lisa Background

University of California Professor Carlo Pedretti thinks that, the background behind Mona Lisa came from the landscape in Bristol Arnold Bridge located in Arezzo city, central Italy. This is based on that Da Vinci was born in Vinci town which was about 100 kilometers away from Arezzo and he once lived there, in addition, the original landscape of this region was exactly the same as the background of Mona Lisa. Therefore, Da Vinci was likely to adopt the pastoral scenery of this region as the background of the Mona Lisa. When this view of Pedretti was announced in the International Symposium of Da Vinci Painting, many art history experts agreed with it.

The mystery of the cause of death of Mona Lisa
According to the records, Lisa •Di • Gherardini died of depression at the age of 46. But a Japanese cardiologist said he found Mona Lisa's left eye with a macular, which was a sign of high cholesterol levels. Japan cardiologist said Mona Lisa should die of myocardial infarction.

Mona Lisa is an endless issue for people to discuss. From its advent, the later generations have made a great deal of tasting and speculation, and left more and more puzzles. At present, there are hundreds of monographs concerning Mona Lisa and nearly 100 scholars considering this Da Vinci painting as a lifelong subject. The passage of time does not make the mysteries to be solved, only to leave more doubts to the future people with in-depth studies.

Paintings of Leonardo da Vinci: Remarkable and Unrivalled

The work is presumed to be started in 1495 while Leonardo da Vinci completed it in 1498. In order to find the most proper face that fits each apostle, Leonardo spent large amount of time observing people in the market. As a result, in The Last Supper reproduction, every apostle appears to act like a real person.

On the right side of Jesus, Thomas, James the Greater and Philip comprise the next group. Thomas is clearly agitated. James the Greater stunned and Philip appears to be seeking clarification. The last group consists of Matthew, Thaddeus and Simon. It appears that both Matthew and Thaddeus are turned toward Simon to see if he can give them any explanations.
